INDIVIDUAL FALL GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE

-Players looking to play competitive basketball during the volleyball season to keep

their skills sharpen. Sweet Hoops invites ALL FEMALES to sign up for the

6th Annual SWEET HOOPS Girls Fall basketball League. The league will be a very structured and competitive girls league that will include ladies from St. Louis City & County, St. Charles, Belleville East/West/Eastside,Collinsville, Windsor, Central Park Hills and so many more!

Middle (6th,7th,8th) & High school(9th-12th) GIRLS DIVISIONS

WHEN

Projected Start Date: Sept 6th

Draft Day for 6th/7th/8th graders 6:00pm-7:15pm on Friday, September 5th

Games Begin for all teams: Sept. 10th (League are Saturdays & Sundays only)

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Teams will consist of 8 players on each team

• Each kid will be placed on a team (high school only) & middle school athletes will be drafted

• Teams will be picked and balanced by height, skill, and grade by a committee

• Each Team will play a minimum 5 game schedule on Saturdays & Sundays plus playoffs

• All players playing time will be balanced as best as possible during games to ensure kids

get proper court time

SOME PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED FOR THE SWEET HOOPS ALL STAR TEAM AND WILL PLAY IN THE ALL STAR GAME

• 6th, 7th and 8th grade divisions will have a 60min draft workout the Friday before OPENING DAY

• High School teams will be pre-selected and balanced off (Grade, skill, experience)

• Playoffs will conclude at end of regular season with individual awards and team awards

• High School games will attract college coaches

• Each team will have volunteer coaches

• All games will feature certified referees
